The English Premier League fixtures for the 2019/2020 season have been released with some interesting match ups in the early season.
Champions Man City start the season away to West Ham United at the Olympic stadium. They then return home to face Tottenham Hotspurs in their first home game of the season. They end August with clashes against Bournemouth and Brighton.
Champions league winners and EPL runners up Liverpool, will begin their campaign against Norwich in what is expected to be the first game of the season.
Liverpool also face a quite challenging start to the season with clashes against fellow top 6 sides Arsenal and Chelsea in the early days of the season.
Manchester United and Chelsea face each other at Old Trafford in what is undoubtedly the biggest fixture of the opening weekend.
Other fixtures for that weekend also sees Arsenal travel to Newcastle and Tottenham face promoted Aston Villa. The other two promoted sides, Norwich and Sheffield United face equally difficult oppositions in Liverpool and Bournemouth respectively.

Some key dates in the season include the North London derby, which will be played on the 31st of August (Emirates) and the 25th of April(Tottenham stadium). The Manchester Derby will also come off on the 7th of December(Etihad) and the 7th of March (Old Trafford).
Manchester City chase their record equalling third successive title next season with Liverpool, after coming so close last time out and missing out on the league by just a single point, vowing to end their 30 year league drought. It all kicks off on August 9.
