“Should I be afraid?” – Efia Odo reacts to death of #FixTheCountry protester

Actress, model, and Ghanaian socialite, Andrea Owusu famed as Efia Odo has cried out after the murder of Fix the country activist Ibrahim Kaaka Mohammed by a mob in Ejura Sekyeredumase.

Ibrahim, better known as Macho Kaka of the fix the country movement who was attacked by a mob on June 25 in Ejura.

In a video seen by ghlinks.com.gh on Instagram, the model seemed dejected while she spoke about the

incident. “You can’t even speak up now because you might lose your life,” she said. “Should I be afraid”?, she added”.

Efia in addition to 15 protesters was recently picked up by the police for shouting slogans in front of an Accra High Court to support lawyers of the group but was later released after several hours.

Macho Kaka is reported to have died on June 28 while receiving treatment at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

Even though the police are investigating the case, Efia might feel threatened by what happed to the activist.

According to the actress, speaking out on pressing issues of the country might endanger one’s life.

Efia Odo has been one of the most tireless advocates of the fix the country movement since its inception but this recent mob attack may have struck a bit of fear in her.
