All too soon the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards is here with us again (scheduled for this Saturday, April 14) and from all indications, it’s going to be full of fireworks.

The topmost award is the Artiste of the Year and every artiste who finds himself in that category fervently to walk away with it.

As history has proven, this particular category has been highly unpredictable but this year’s edition is different.

All pundits and laymen believe only one person deserves it- Ebony! This unanimous belief is not for the fact that her death has won her some empathy but she really did everything possible to be crowned the Artiste of the Year whilst she was alive.

In consonance with the above, Ghanaian rapper and music producer has  stated that this year’s VGMA Ebony will win this award hands down.

In an interview on TV3’s ‘New Day’, E.L said Ebony provided Ghanaians with the most entertainment in the year under review and thus completely deserves to win the topmost award.

Asked who would win the coveted award, E.L opined: “To me personally its Ebony,”

In the year under review she caused us the most shock, the most awe and the most entertainment…For me E.L, it’s Ebony.” he said.
