An investigation conducted by MyNewsGH.com has revealed that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Obengfo Hospital, Dr Dominic Obeng -Andoh, who is facing a murder charge and was granted a GH¢50,000 bail by the Accra Circuit Court due to his deteriorating health has now reopened his hospital and is operating at top speed as more clients keep trooping in.
Last two weeks we exclusively broke the story of an authentic list of his celebrity clients which included names like Moesha, Princess Shyngle among many other Ghanaian, Kenyan and Nigerian clients who refused to come to his aid in his hour of need.
An undercover team from MyNewsGh.com visited the facility and can confirm that business for the “liposuction specialist” is booming as more women clients, but even men with potbellies and weight problems are visiting to have their problem solved.
Our readers will recall it was ghlinks.com.gh which broke the news of the death Deputy Chief Executive Officer for National Entrepreneurship Innovation Programme (NEIP) Stacy Offei Darko at the hands of Dr Obengfo when she visited the facility.
Her “baby-father”, NPP MP Kennedy Agyapong said she had gone there for a thigh reduction liposuction but she died in the process. Dr Obengfo pleaded not guilty to murder and operation of an unlicensed health facility.
Following the news, the Police Criminal Investigation Department shut down the facility for its illegal operation. Gh Links can however confirm that he has resumed full operation, morning and evening with nurses running shift due to the large number of clients they have.
Dr Obengfo who was granted bail due to his deteriorating health which led to his admission at the Ridge Hospital. He had on two occasions failed to appear before the court where he is standing trial with one other Edward Amponsah, who is charged with impersonation.
In court Friday, he struggled to walk and had to be assisted to and from the courtroom, but the hospital is now opened and he is in charge.
