Celebrated Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has sent a word of caution to all Ghanaians after the just-ended presidential and parliamentary elections which have been trending for days now.

According to the actress, it is useless for any Ghanaian to start fights in the name of who actually won the elections since all the political parties are corrupt.

Ghana’s elections ended about a week ago and the incumbent president Nana Akuffo Addo is expected to lead the country for another 4-year term. The election results has however been rejected by the opposition National Democratic Congress in what it describes as a non-transparent election.

According to the NDC, the EC collaborated with the ruling NPP to rig the results in favour Nana Akuffo Addo. Party faithfuls have taken to the streets to demonstrate against the EC and also call for a re-declaration of electoral results in favor John Dramani Mahama.

In a tweet, Yvonne Nelson said the two parties were all guilty of corruption and that no one should fight and let alone hurt himself or herself for a party. She tweeted;

 “One chopped Ghana’s money nyafu nyafu, the other is chopping it stylishly. They are all CHOPPING. Continue entering into fights for them. Your development money is in their pocket. Merry Christmas in advance”.
