The corona virus has kept almost everyone away from normal daily routines as it isn’t still confirmed as to what the actual mode of infection is and which definite drug can be used to cure it. For safety measures, people are advised to stay at home and stay safe during the lockdown times.

Diana Hamilton, the Mo Ne Yo singer isn’t exempted from the huge section of celebrities asking for people to stay safe. In her interview with TV3’s Mzgee, she said it was very important for people to keep praying but advised that the virus is real so people should stay safe too. She explained that the needful is to adhere to safety protocols such as social distancing, using of sanitizers and regularly washing of hands like health professionals have advised during these times. She explained;

“Prayers can do everything if we believe that God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly…prayer can do it but whiles we are praying to God, it’s like saying that you have a headache but you will not take paracetamol but you will only pray…”

“Much as we pray, it’s also very important that we do the needful i.e. social distancing, self-isolation, being quarantined, washing of your hands, avoiding crowds…,”
