Davido Set To Collaborate With DJ Khaled (Watch Video)

Born in Atlanta and bred in both Atlanta and Nigeria, the African music giant, David Adedeji Adeleke popularly known as Davido has been taking over the air waves since he formally jumped onto the music scene in 2010.

Not only does he have virtually uncountable hits to his name, the “fall” hitmaker has recently been reported to have moved from the 37th spot on American Billboard Charts to the 28th spot.

With the kind of power he wields, it’s good to know he’s focusing more on making strides to bridge between Afro pop/beats and Hip hop as it’s known in America and bring Afro beats to the mainstream, to help black artistes.

In talking about his new venture, he revealed that he’ll be collaborating with hip hop artist, songwriter, record producer, DJ Khaled on the American DJ’s much anticipated album, “Father of Asahd”.

The album is DJ Khaled’s eleventh studio album and features big artists like recent Grammy Winner Cardi B, Nipsey husstle, 21 savage, and many other artists. The album is expected to be released on May 17th, 2019.

Speaking on “iHeartRadio”, the African superstar has shown no signs of stopping soon, as he also revealed that he’ll be working to get Meek Mill to jump on Afro beat. The “Assurance” hitmaker has worked with Cassanova, Justin Timberlake, Drake and many others.

He credited his exposure in Atlanta and Nigeria as the reason he’s able to understand the dynamics of both boarders and how it helps him bridge the gap and bring African music to the frontline.
