Nigerian singer David Adeleke known popularly as Davido has finally cleared the air on why he flew to Ghana with his baby mama and his daughter and has said that he gave her a lift because she had business in Ghana.
Some few days ago, Davido caused a stir on social media when he posted videos on his social media pages where his baby mama was captured in a video alongside his daughter in a private jet.
The award winning singer was billed to perform at the Afro Nation concert and headlines suggested that he was out to have a holiday with his daughter and baby mama in Ghana.
This evidently didn’t sound pleasing to many as he announced his engagement to his fiancée Chioma some few months ago.
Taking to Instagram to clarify the issues, the evidently angered Davido said his baby mama had business with Afrochella in Ghana and couldn’t leave her daughter in Nigeria all by herslelf.
He added that it was a favor he did for her since he was also billed to perform in Ghana the next day.
He posted;
“I just want to drop a quick comment on the silly blog headlines I’ve been seeing circulate about me taking the mother of my first child on holiday to Ghana and really wish y’all would quit with it.
You ALL know very well I recently proposed to my girlfriend Chioma recently and it would make no sense whatsoever for me to be doing such.
My daughter’s mum had business in Ghana with Afrochella selling Imade’s hair products at stalls and I obviously was booked to perform at Afro Nation. I simply gave her a lift to Ghana for the sake Imade who I didn’t want left in Lagos, without her mum. It was either that or she fly economy.
I do not understand why y’all would spread such rumors you know would do nothing but hurt my fiancée and disrespect her family. 2020 is for positive energy only. Get with it!”
