Davido is already bearing the brunt of being a single parent, only a week after taking responsibility for his son since his fiancee Chioma Rowland tested positive for coronavirus.

The musician last Friday made the announcement on social media indicating that his wife-to-be is currently being quarantined and treated of the virus.

Davido, real name David Adeleke, on Thursday however gave an update on Chioma’s condition revealing that she’s fine and has not shown any symptoms yet.

But a photo of him carrying his baby boy in his arms, which he posted on his Instagram page later in the day, showed he was immensely fatigued – perhaps from his daddy duties.

“Mothers Dey try ooo see my eyes lmao 😂😂,” Davido captioned the snap with his lazy eyes staring in the camera. He ended with the hashtag “#waitingformommytocomeback“

Davido, a week ago, revealed that Chioma returned to Nigeria recently from her trip to London.

He added that he also returned from the United States and they both decided to go and test Covid-19.

When the results were in, Chioma tested positive while he tested negative.

“Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby,” he wrote on Instagram.

“We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever”.

Davido added, “She is now being quarantined and I have also gone into full self-isolation for the minimum 14 days.

Hey everyone ! I came back recently from America after postponing my tour. My fiancé Chioma also came back from London recently with our baby. We had no symptoms and still both feel perfectly fine but because of our recent travel history we decided to take ourselves and our all close associates we’ve come in recent contact with for the COVID-19 test on the 25th of March. Unfortunately, my fiancé’s results came back positive while all 31 others tested have come back negative including our baby. We are however doing perfectly fine and she is even still yet to show any symptoms whatsoever. She is now being quarantined and I have also gone into full self isolation for the minimum 14 days. I want to use this opportunity to thank you all for your endless love and prayers in advance and to urge everyone to please stay at home as we control the spread of this virus! Together we can beat this! Love, D ❤️
