The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating 12-year-old Daisha Pettus.
Daisha Pettus was last seen about 7 a.m. Monday leaving her Fairfield home.
She was wearing a wig with long black and green braids, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities believe Daisha ran away from home but are concerned because of her age.
ALEA issued an emergency alert saying she could be in danger.
She was last seen in the area of 48th Street in Fairfield.
Daisha is 5-feet, 3-inches tall and weighs 110 pounds.
Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff’s office at 205-325-1450.
