Two people died as a result of a two-vehicle accident on Saturday night said the El Paso County Sheriff’s Department.
The Sheriff’s Office said that upon arrival, 29-year-old Rick Ballard was found dead at the scene and 28-year-old Dalia Olivas was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The offender will be arrested for two counts of intoxication and manslaughter once they are released from the hospital.
East Montana Patrol Duties were dispatched to the intersection of Rojas and Eastlake at 11:37 p.m.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, when authorities got there, they saw three people with serious injuries.
Special Traffic Investigators were requested to investigate the crash said the Sheriff’s Office.
The intersection will be closed off until further notice.
