President Akufo-Addo has urged the Minister for Youth and Sports, Mustapha Ussif to explore the possibility of having Callum Hudson-Odoi switch nationality from England to play for Ghana.
The Chelsea forward who has been holidaying in Ghana after being snubbed by England for the Euro 2020 paid a courtesy call on the President at the Jubilee House yesterday.
“Amongst others, I urged the Minister for Youth and Sports to explore the possibility of having Callum switch nationality, and play for the Black Stars,” posted on President’s official Facebook page.
Odoi also spent time at the Accra Sports stadium watching his father’s former team, Hearts of Oak draw 1-1 with Great Olympics in the Mantse derby and he received a customised jersey from the Phobians.
