Two people were killed Thursday in a crash near Canal Winchester.
The crash happened near the intersection of Gender Road and Abbie Trails Drive at 11:23 a.m.
A white Honda Accord on Gender Road and a gray Chevrolet Cruze collided at the intersection.
The driver of the Chevrolet Cruz was killed instantly in the crash, police say.
37-year-old Cofield Brown, who was the driver of the Honda Accord, was taken to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition.
He died shortly before noon.
It’s not clear what exactly caused the crash at this time.
The Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit responded to the crash scene and initiated an investigation, which is ongoing.
