On Wednesday afternoon, Robert Listenbee of the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office announced that Cody Heron of Philadelphia, has been arrested and charged in the incident.

26-year-old Cody Heron charges
Cody Heron was charged with possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person and multiple counts of aggravated assault over the Sunday night attack.
In total, he was charged with three counts of aggravated assault, four counts of simple assault, four counts of recklessly endangering another person, two counts of terroristic threats, and single counts each of criminal mischief, possession of an instrument of crime, tampering with a recording, tampering with evidence, disorderly conduct with fighting and accidents with damage, according to police.
The incident
The incident occurred at around 9 p.m. on Sunday night near Philadelphia City Hall.
In a video going viral, Heron can be seen hitting Nikki Bullock’s car before scaling and smashing its window in front of a crowd of other motorists.
Both of Bullock’s children, aged five and two, were in the car at the time – and the incident ended with the man believed to be Heron brandishing a gun at the mom.
No one intervened to help.
While no one was hurt during the hectic encounter – which happened at a red light – the suspect managed to drive off unhindered, and outraged sleuths across the country worked relentlessly to name and shame the then-at-large crook.
