Black Stars Coach CK Akunnor has released a 23-man squad for the team’s AFCON 2021 qualification double header against Sudan later this month.
The Black Stars, led by CK Akunnor are drawn in a group with Sudan, South Africa and Sao Tome & Principe are top of the qualification group with 6 points from a possible 6 after 2 wins against South Africa and Sao Tome.
CK Akunnor, who was assistant to former Stars coach Kwasi Appiah , will take charge of his first game against Sudan later this month after taking over from Kwasi Appiah last month.
4 players plying their trade in the Ghana Premier League have made the cut. This includes the highest scoring Ghanaian, Yahaya Mohammed of Aduana Stars and Hearts of Oak shotstopper,Richard Attah.
