A teenager is dead following a motorcycle crash in south Bibb, coroner Leon Jones said.
Jones said Christopher Allen Jr., 19, was driving his motorcycle on Jones Road around 12:45 p.m. on Saturday.
He said Allen crashed his motorcycle in the side of a minivan at the intersection of Jones Road and School Road.
The coroner said Allen was taken to a Macon trauma center where he was pronounced dead around 1:45 p.m. Next of kin has been notified.
The Bibb County Sherriff’s office said another motorcyclist, a 44-year-old female, was also involved in the accident was not hurt.
The crash is currently under investigation.
