Five people are dead and one is in critical condition after a crash in Clermont County early Sunday morning.
A lady identified as Chloe Love, was among five people who perished.
It happened in the 2500 block of state Route 28, near the Bronze Bell Bar and Grill in Pleasant Plain at 1:34 a.m.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Joseph Westhoven, a Chrysler vehicle was traveling eastbound on state Route 28 while a Subaru was heading northbound into Pleasant Plain.
At this time, it is unclear which vehicle was struck, but Westhoven believes the Chrysler was speeding, which played a role in the crash.
Four people were inside the Chrysler and two people were inside the Subaru, he said.
- The conditions of the occupants are as follows:
- Three people in the Chrysler are confirmed dead.
- The fourth person in the Chrysler is in critical condition at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
- Two individuals in the Subaru are dead.
- Both people in the Subaru were wearing their seatbelts, Westhoven added.
Names of the rest involved have not been released yet.
