A shooting in the wee hours of Saturday morning has claimed the life of a Union Springs man.
According to Captain Robbie Whitmore with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call of shots fired at Range 231 located at 3250 Wetumpka Highway around 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The business is an entertainment venue that has a live music, a driving range, karaoke, and other activities.
While investigating the scene, deputies received a call about a gunshot victim who had been transported to Baptist South Hospital.
The victim, 27 year old Cardell Obrian of Union Springs, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
No other information is available as the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office investigates the death.
