International Beer Brand, Budweiser Shows Interest In Signing Shatta Wale As Brand Ambassador?
Remember that popular song by the King of African Dancehall, Shatta Wale some years back titled Cocoa Season? Well, this should have been the right time for the King to release that song if you ask me.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popular in the showbiz circles as Shatta Wale is definitely having a fabulous year, months after his VGMA brawl with arch rival now good friends, Stonebwoy.
The sensational dancehall artiste was enskinned as Dancehall Naa some months ago in Tamale, landed a huge collaboration with award-winning American musician, Beyonce on her ‘Lion King; The Gift’ album, also landed a collaboration with an American female rapper and featured on globally recognized Jamaican record label, Not Nice record’s latest project which has Sean Paul, Pap Cean and other dancehall greats and will be released later this month.
Just when we thought we’ve seen enough to certify Shatta Wale is having an amazing year, he surprises us with another big news. Globally recognized beer giants, Bundweiser reached out to Shatta Wale yesterday on twitter. In their tweet, they acknowledged the Dancehall Naa for his good efforts and asked if he would like to feature on their upcoming project. Knowing the Dancehall king very well, this isn’t an opportunity he would want to miss as he replied them saying he is ever ready.
