A Jackson County man killed in a rollover crash Sunday evening has been identified by police.

Bruce Michael Lynk, 52, died Sunday, Sept. 22, when his car drifted off the roadway in Rives Township and hit a tree, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office.

A celebration of Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with a prayer service to follow at 12:00 PM at Lauer Family Funeral Home in Jackson, Michigan.

Who was Bruce Michael Lynk?

Bruce Michael Lynk was born on October 23, 1971, in Jackson, Michigan, to his loving parents Pat and Terry Lynk, who survive him.

Bruce is also survived by his beloved sister, Christine Lynk; cherished niece, Katelyn Lynk; girlfriend, Wendy Noles, and her daughter, Corinne Rovegno; cousin, Carin (Erick) Harrison of Tampa, Florida and their children Mason and Mia; son, Brandon Niceswander; grandchildren, Bentley and Isabella Niceswander; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leo and Frances Radziewicz, and Marshall and Catherine Lynk, along with his aunt, Mary L. Turner.

Bruce graduated from Jackson High School in 1989 before earning an Associate degree in Automotive Sciences.

A true Michigander, Bruce loved traveling the state with Wendy, embracing the beauty of each season.

He was a passionate fan of his hometown sports teams, especially the Detroit Lions and University of Michigan Wolverines.
