President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Kwesi Nyantakyi has called bluff of ace investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, ‘bragging’ that he has done nothing wrong or untoward anywhere, to the best of his knowledge, and if anything at all, the video of Anas if true, will serve to vindicate him- can say.

Speaking to a journalist with Graphic from Morrocco where he said he was not hiding or running away but on official duties, Kwasi Nyantakyi also said contrary to a story we at published about an empty GFA Office and bolting officials, the truth was that they were all out of the country on official duties.

Speaking on Anas exposé, he said he has not done anything wrong to fear Anas:

“I have not done anything untoward to be afraid of an Anas exposé”, he said.

“If anything at all, whatever he brings out can help us all to find out what is really happening: whether Nyantakyi is corrupt as has been the perception all this while,” Mr Nyantakyi postulated. has reported extensively on Anas Number 12 video which will be premiered at the Conference Center and across the country next month.

According to Abdul Malik Kwaku Baako, a mentor to Anas Armeyaw Anas, the details of the players in the video centered on the Ghana Football Association, some administrators and some politicians numbering 60 in all.

Kwasi Nyantakyi, a three term President of the Football Association has declared his intention to go for a fourth term, with many advising otherwise.

One such voices, is the voice of a former spokesperson of the FA under Mr Nyantakyi, Randy Abbey, who is of the opinion that “while Nyantakyi as a person has seen his life make progress, the Football Association has retrogressed under his watch”.
