BECE Placement Verification 2022
Students who sat for the 2021 Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) can now access information on the secondary schools to which they have been enrolled.
The GES, through its Head of Public Relations Unit, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, announced that candidates can verify and confirm school choices via bulk SMS, USSD, and online.
From Wednesday, February 16 to Tuesday, February 22, 2022, candidates are allowed to verify and confirm their schools.
“As part of measures to ensure a smooth Placement this year, the Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) Secretariat has made available the choices of schools selected by the 2021 BECE Candidates through bulk SMS, USSD messaging and online for verification and confirmation.

How To Verify & Confirm BECE School Placement
- The first step is to dial the BECE School Placement Verification and Confirmation Short Code: *899*88#
- Choose the first option (Generate Access Token)
- After that, enter your Index Number
- Verify and confirm BECE school placement in the final process
CSSPS Verification & Confirmation Portal
- Start by visiting the Ghana Education Service’s official verification and confirmation website: https://csspsverify.com
- Enter the index number of your Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
- Enter your Date of Birth in the format; Month, Day & Year (MMDDYYYY).
- Click ‘Fetch Candidate’s Selection‘.
- The details of your school choice will be displayed for confirmation of whether they are accurate or not.
BECE School Placement Verification & Confirmation Deadline
Be advised that verification and confirmation begin on Wednesday, 16th February and end on Tuesday, 22nd February 2022.
