Bawumia Cannot Deny This , He Should Come Out If He Is Bold - Kwesi Pratt Declares

Kwesi Pratt has sent a strong message to Dr. Bawumia requesting him to come out and deny if he has no intention of taking over from his leader, Nana Akuffo-Addo after his second term.

Kwesi Pratt, being one of the active voices in Ghana has angrily reacted to the disclaimer released and described it as unnecessary.

He argued that Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia was forced to issue the statement on the fear of suspension which he describes as impossible.

This comment adds to the growing tensions over alleged Dr. Bawumia position to lead the NPP into the 2024 general elections.

Unexpectedly, Dr. Bawumia issued a statement to refute the allegations, an action which has received mixed reviews from Ghanaians.

Speaking in an interview on Good Morning Africa show today, he warned the Executive Committee of the NPP over attempts to intimidate Vice President Dr. Bawumia. In what he described as a disappointment, he boldly called on him to openly declare his intention if any.

“I want to find out if Dr. Bawumia can say in all honesty that he has no intention to take over after Akuffo-Addo. I would be shocked to death because he himself knows that he’s positioning himself to take over. This denial, what’s it about?”

“Is Bawumia honestly saying that he has not met anyone who is interested in promoting him to take over. I am watching the scene and I’m listening to the statements. Who in the party can suspend you?”
