Barcelona have completed the signing of French foward and world cup winner, Antoine Griezmann in a deal worth €120.
A statement from the official Barcelona site stated:
“FC Barcelona has paid the 120 million euro buyout clause to release Antoine Griezmann from Atlético Madrid”
“The player will sign a contract with his new club for the next five seasons, through to 30 June 2024, with a buyout clause of 800 million euros.”

Griezmann 28, joined Atletico Madrid from Real Sociedad in 2014 and went on to score 94 goals in 180 games for the Madrid side and winning the 2018 Europa league and European Super Cup.
He placed 3rd in the 2016 FIFA Ballon d’or award ceremony for the best footballer in the world award after a stellar EURO 2016 and campaign saw him finish as the tournament’s best player and top goalscorer as France marginally lost to Portugal in the final.
He also won the 2018 world cup with France, winning the bronze ball as the tournament’s third best player.
He becomes Barcelona’s 3rd major summer signing after the acquisition of Ajax’s Frenkie De Jong and goalkeeeper Neto from Valencia.
