Anas Aremeyaw Anas has become a household name in Ghana and the rest of the world and it is not peculiar to adult but children alike.

Perhaps, this is the reason a school child on Career Day decided to dress like the ace investigative journalist with the hope of becoming an undercover journalist in future.

The image which has since gone viral on social media platforms, reveals how the schoolboy may has fallen in love with the journalist who uses a hat and beads to disguise himself each time he is making a public appearance.

Many have wondered if he himself asked to be dressed that way or his parents chose that dress code for him which has left many social users attracted to it anyway.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas has stated that it is not his wish to be wearing a mask all the time but he has no choice

According to him, his work as an investigative journalist is not for selfish interest but to push for the development of the frontiers of democracy of the country which must be a collective interest of all its citizens.

“My kind of journalism is extreme and I can see that from your faces. I do what I do because I’m a product of my society. Everything I do is what has been mirrored back to me by you. I think that we have an extreme disease. So we set off for that mission to film or to investigate. Who is says it is enjoyable to be standing before you wearing a mask. I would have loved to removed it, walked with, spoken to you and all that. But hey it is not a bed of roses. We have to understand that if the frontiers of democracy are going to be pushing it must be a collective effort”, he disclosed at the Second National Media Festival Organized by the Press Foundation,
