In October last year, it was announced that Asamoah Gyan was filing for divorce from his wife and was also asking for a paternity test to determine if he’s the father of his three kids.
The news was shocking to most Ghanaians and some reports indicated that he wants to marry another woman known as Nina Atalah.
Although Gyan has been tight-lipped on the news of his divorce, he through his lawyers issued a statement to clarify that, he was only annulling his marriage and not seeking divorce ( which technically means the same the same thing).
We later learned it was his older brother, Baffour Gyan who asked for the paternity test on behalf of his brother.
From what we’ve been told, the result was read in court today and it shows a high degree of certainty that Asamoah Gyan is the father as all 20 genetic markers prove so.
Another website, mynewsgh.com also reports that its source at Medilab said the DNA samples were taken from the Gyan’s- Asamoah Gyan, Gifty Gyan, and the three children (Frederick Gyan, Raphael Gyan, and Ohemaa Gyan) proved 100% that all the children belong to Asamoah Gyan.
The site also wrote that Medilab Ghana took the samples from the Gyan’s, sent them abroad to one of the top-most reliable Diagnostic Laboratory in India where the test was conducted and the results show all the three kids were Gyan’s.
The DNA test was conducted at Medilab at Ridge in Accra on January 6th this year under the strict supervision of Asamoah Gyan’s elder brother, Baffour Gyan.
Delay who happens to be a very close friend of Asamoah Gyan’s wife, Gifty in excitement also posted a picture of herself and Gifty on her Instagram with the caption; “Gifty 🥰🥰❤️💗😍💕🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 WOOOOWW 🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️🤸🏻♀️”
