Passengers onboard a Sprinter traveling from Obuasi have all lost their valuable belongings after they were reportedly ambushed and robbed by some unknown gunmen around 5 am in Bekwai in the Ashanti region.
According to a passenger who spoke with a Hello FM reporter, the road was blocked to make the driver think it was a police barrier.
The passenger added that they instructed them to get down and laid on the floor. After they searched all their bags took away all their money, laptops, mobile phones and all the accessories which they needed.
According to the information, nobody was shot.
Other sources have revealed that these armed robbers who maneuvered to pull of the attack comprised of three men and one lady.
The case is currently with the Bekwai district police station for further investigation.
