Arian Taherzadeh, who lived in Washington, DC, pretended to be a member of a Department of Homeland Security task force investigating violence linked to the January 6th event at the US Capitol.

The accused allegedly devised the system to provide rent-free luxury apartments, high-end electronics, and police equipment to Secret Service officers.

The suspects are also suspected of offering a fancy apartment worth more than $40,000 per year to an agent.
When postal inspectors were investigating an attack on a mail delivery employee at the suspects’ apartment complex last month, they discovered their deception.
As a result, the cops were informed by the homeowners that the two guys claimed to be DHS special agents.
