Anne Sophie AVÉ is a French Ambassador to Ghana and the host of the Touch of France, a groundbreaking TV talk show starring Ghanaian celebs and showcasing France & France in Ghana.

She was appointed Ambassador of France to Ghana in 2018 by decree of the President of the French Republic.

She was born on November 10, 1968, in Fontainebleau (France).

Education

A former student of the National School of Administration (ENA), Anne-Sophie Avé also holds a Diploma in Business, Administrative and Financial Studies (DESCAF) from the Toulouse Business School (ESC).

She began her career as a Consultant and vocation trainer at the Institut de Formation Professionnelle Appliquée (IFPA) from 1991 to 1996.

In 1997, she was the sales Director at Addeo multimedia and later joined Ministry of Transport in France as the Head of the European and International Unit at the Directorate for maritime.

She was then promoted as the General Delegate of Armateurs de France at the Ministry of Transport, from 2007 – 2012.

In 2012, she was appointed the Social Counsellor in the cabinet of Jean-Yves Le Drian (Minister of Defence).

In 2016, she was the Director of Human Resources of the Ministry of Defence, a position she held until she was appointed Ambassador of France to Ghana in 2018 by the President of France.

Anne Sophie Avé is also the current host of Touch of France, a television show that is based on the idea of propagating the open cultural exchange between France and Ghana.

The show is co-produced by Bola Ray.
