The actor who arrived with a delegation of National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) for ‘Jamestown to Jamestown’ event few hours ago, joins a tall list of famous persons from the diaspora who have made that all important trip to the motherland to remember 400 years since Africans were first shipped to the Americas to work as slaves, in what is known as the most egregious chapter in the history of the continent.
