The City of Monroe Police Department is reporting that a woman was fatally shot in the city in the early morning hours of Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.
A 22-year-old man charged with the murder is in police custody.
According to a press release from MPD, at 5.07 a.m. this morning, officers and detectives responded to 114 4th street in Monroe in response to a 911 call of a person shot.
The victim, Allison Kaspor, 20, of Monroe was pronounced dead at the scene as a result of multiple gunshot wounds.
Matthew Rowe, 22, also of Monroe, has been taken into custody and charged with felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
