Algeria national team coach, Djamel Belmadi has dropped midfielder Harris Belkebla from their final 23-man AFCON squad after mistakenly showing his backside during a game of fortnite.
Belkebla, who made 17 appearances for Ligue 2 side Brest, was on the verge of making his tournament debut for the Desert Lions but will have to wait after the recent development.
A live video stream of his teammate, Alexandre Oukidja playing fortnite on Twitch showed Belkebla with his pants down ,behind Oukidja and baring his backside.
Belkebla, who is the nephew of former Algerian International,Youssef had previously played for Algeria’s U-20 and U-23 team between 2012 and 2016.
Meanwhile, Algeria’s final U-23 for the AFCON includes premier league winner Riyadh Mahrez and veterans Rais M’boli and Sofiane Feghouli while former Spurs midfielder Nabil Bentaleb missed out.
