Akuapem Poloo , real name Rosemond Brown, is a popular Ghanaian actress and social media influencer who is also known for her controversial attacks on some Ghanaian celebrities and her nudity.
Today, she has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry.
Early Life
At a tender age, Akuapem started out selling Poloo, a popular Ghanaian snack, on the street of Maamfe in Aburi.
As a result, she earned the nickname Akuapem Poloo.
Education
She had her education at the Suhum Roman Catholic school, in the Eastern Region of Ghana but completed junior high at Ofori Payin.
She later proceeded to Adonten Senior High School for her secondary school education.
Career
She began her career as a video vixen and later ventured into movies.
Some of the movies she has featured include Phone shop Sala, Odo, Agya Koo Azonto, Side Chic Gang, Salah, Odo Lastic, Efiewura, and Obra.
Controversy
On June 30, 2020, Akuapem Poloo came under criticism from some Ghanaians over a nude picture she took together with her son who was also half-naked, and posted the same on her Instagram page which went viral on social media.
Fast forward, April 2021, Akuapem Poloo has been jailed 90 days or three months for the publication of nude pictures with her seven-year-old son.
