Sadio Mané is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Saudi Pro League club Al Nassr and the Senegal national team.

Known for his pressing, dribbling and speed, Mané is often considered one of the greatest African players of all time.

Despite Mane being one of the most recognisable faces in football, he somehow managed to keep his relationship with his ”long-term” partner Aisha Tamba secret from the public eye up until their marriage this year.

Aisha Tamba ( born – 2006 age – 18 ) is the wife of Senegalese professional footballer, Sadio Mane.

She is 13 years younger than the former Liverpool star.

Tamba was born in Casamance, a town bordering Bambali, the village where her husband hails from.

She is the daughter of an architect and speaks the native Mandingo language, the same as the Al-Nassr star.

Sadio Mane is also said to have supported Tamba throughout her education.

The now Mrs Mane is reportedly a scholar of the Quran – the Islamic holy text – having spent most of her youthful days studying at a private institute in Mbao.

She is in her final year of school.

Aisha Tamba and Sadio Mane relationship

Mane is said to have first spotted Tamba when she was just 16 years old but he did not approach her formally since she was a minor at the time.

However, he reportedly communicated his intentions to his uncle, who is a friend of the family, which paved the way for their eventual union.

The pair hail from the same area of Senegal.

Photos from the couple’s wedding have been shared on online, with a photography company posting pictures to the social media platform Instagram.

In the photographs, Mane and his wife can be seen holding hands and posing for photographs following the wedding ceremony.
