News reaching us indicates that Adwoa Safo has sacked, Mrs. Gertrude Quashigah, the boss of the school feeding program.
In a letter sighted online, Hon. Adwoa Sarfoa who serves as the Minister for Gender Children and Social Protection terminated the appointment contract of Gertrude Quashigah.
A reason for her sack is not stipulated in the letter announcing the termination of her appointment.
But the letter indicates that she will be paid one month’s salary and is expected to hand over documents and other properties of the Ministry to the Chief Director of the Ministry.
Mrs Gertrude Quashigah was officially named national coordinator of the programme in March 2020 after taking over from Dr Kwame Adu-Nsiah who was also fired.
She was already serving as an acting coordinator for about a year before she was given the role officially.
