Actor Van Vicker Calls For Action Against Corrupt Politicians Amidst Shatta Wale And Stonbwoy Brawl

The unfortunate incident which occurred at the 20th Vodafone Ghana Music Awards this Saturday between dancehall acts Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy has raised lots of eyebrows from both Ghana and the diaspora.

Many celebrities have taken the chance to express their opinions on the unfortunate incident, with some taking sides and others giving a road map for the way forward.

Actor Van Vicker has however taken the chance to send a message to Ghanaians who are concentrating on judging these two acts for what they did inside the auditorium, saying there is the need to concentrate more on corrupt politicians in the country.

In a post sited by ghlinks.com.gh on his official Instagram page, the actor obviously condemned the act by these two top artistes but queried its difference from corruption from politicians. He asked what has been done to the likes of Kwesi Nyantakyi and NAM 1 and asked for justice at every level.

Read post below;

In the Stonebwoy and Shatta’s brawl many are saying we need to send a strong message in order to deter others by evoking stonebwoy’s gun, having them sign a bond of good behavior etc, etc. and I gravitate towards that. However, how different is it from sending strong messages to corrupt politicians or those engaged in corruption from this ent adversity?

What happened to those who sent fake journalists to Australia, Nyantakyi , nam 1, etc, etc?

That strong message shoukd be sent out and enforced not in selected institutions only.

If we need to grow then we need to begin to learn to punish for wrong doings at every level,
