30 year-old Michael Lech: Motorcyclist dies in late-night Fulton County crash

According the Fulton County Sheriff, at around 9:45 on Friday, Sept. 20 at the intersection of US-20A and County Road 3 in Swan Creek Township, a two-vehicle crash occurred.

According to a report from the sheriff, a black Chevy Suburban driven by a 31-year-old Bowling Green man, was traveling northbound on County Road 3 when he failed to yield to oncoming traffic at a stop sign.

Investigators state that after entering the intersection, the SUV struck a maroon Honda motorcycle traveling eastbound driven by 30 year-old Michael Lech of Delta, Ohio.

Authorities state Lech was pronounced dead on the scene.

The driver of the SUV was not injured from the crash.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating the crash. They say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

It is unknown if charges have yet been filed against the driver.
