Richmond County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene of a fatal shooting on East Chapman Street Thursday evening.
According to RSCO, deputies arrived at 7:29 p.m. on Nov. 14 in reference to the shooting on the 700 block of East Chapman Street where an adult male was located “who had been shot at least one time.” The victim succumbed to his injuries.
He has been identified as 27-year-old Zaytreonta Boyd of Augusta.
This investigation is in its early stages and no further information has been given at this time.
