A 24-year-old motorcyclist identified as Andy Willis lost his life in a crash Thursday morning in Pensacola.
It happened around 1:20 a.m. on Creighton Road near Lebanon Lane.
According to Florida Highway Patrol’s preliminary investigation, Andy Willis was traveling north on Creighton Road while a sedan driven by a 23-year-old Pensacola man was traveling south.
FHP states the sedan made a left turn into the path of the oncoming motorcycle, which struck the passenger side of the sedan.
Andy motorcyclist was declared dead on scene.
The driver of the sedan suffered minor injuries.
FHP Traffic Homicide continues to investigate the crash.
