A 22-year-old man identified online as Junito Ebk was fatally shot Sunday evening on Syracuse’s East Side, police said.
The shooting was reported at about 6:10 p.m. in the 200 block of Westmoreland Avenue, across from the Parkside Commons apartments.
The man was taken to Upstate University Hospital, where he later died, according to Kieran Coffey, a police spokesperson.
There were three other shootings earlier Sunday, police said.
A man in his 30s was shot in the leg. He was found at about 3:45 a.m. near Erie Boulevard West and Geddes Street.
A 20-year-old man was shot in the back at about 1 p.m. in the 600 block of Onondaga Avenue.
An 18-year-old man was shot in the lower back at about 5:45 p.m. in the 500 block of Park Street
