Berla Mundi is a multiple award-winning Ghanaian Journalist who has taken over the media landscape with her endearing personality and witty nature.

Berla is an alumna of St. Theresa’s School, Achimota School and the University of Ghana where she studied linguistics and psychology for her first degree.

She studied French at Alliance Francais.

She also studied at the Ghana Institute of Journalism.

She currently holds the title as Ghana’s Most Influential Young Media Personality, and Most Influential Young Female in 2019, and this comes after being honored as one of four leading media women in Ghana in 2019, and successfully moderating Columbia University’s 16th Annual Africa Economic Forum in the USA in 2019 where she interacted with CEOs from some of the world’s largest technology companies, IBM, Microsoft, and Chevron, on ‘The role of technology in developing a sustainable African economy’.

She’s achieved enviable success in the media field, hosting Ghana’s biggest and most listened to award-winning shows, The Drive Time’ on Starr 103.5fm and ‘The Late Afternoon Show’ on GHOne TV, addressing social issues pertaining to young adults and offering them a platform to share their stories to inspire, educate, inform and entertain others.

The Late Afternoon Show won the ‘The TV Show of the Year 2018’ in less than a year, while she picked up the ‘2018 Female TV Entertainment Host’ at the Radio and Television Personality Awards.

After 8 years as a lead presenter at GHONE TV, Berla Mundi has taken on a bigger role as host of Ghana’s biggest TV Morning Show, The New Day at Media General, where she now serves as anchor.

Berla Mundi served as the Ghanaian co-host for Africa’s first-ever syndicated talk show, ‘Moments with Mo’ on DSTV for two (2) years and has conducted compelling interviews with top personalities across the continent including government officials and politicians, seasoned entrepreneurs across the continent, CEOs from various industries including IBM, Chevron, Microsoft and Genevieve Magazine Nigeria, some African entertainment personalities, and more.
